Kassandra Koester

My journey with yoga began in my early 20’s. I had a negative relationship with my body and myself. After leaving my first yoga class feeling like I was floating on a cloud, I knew there was something to be discovered through this practice. I continued to practice and yoga showed me whole new pieces of myself I had yet to discover. Yoga has taught me many life lessons, but the most meaningful one is how to live in my body.

I have been practicing yoga for 6 years. I completed my 200 hour YTT at Laughing Buddha Yoga Studio in Tempe and began teaching there shortly after. I am a firm believer in movement as medicine and self love.

My background is based in nutrition and I have my BS in Dietetics. I love food! I work in the world of school food and nutrition. I’m passionate about feeding kiddos and taking care of people.

I am excited to be apart of this community and to move and breathe with you.

Taylor McQuoid

Taylor has been professionally performing and teaching in Arizona for over a decade. She first began performing in Los Angeles as a dancer around 2006, before traveling to Japan in 2010 to work as an aerialist for Tokyo Disney’s production, Under the Sea.

After returning from Japan in 2011, she received her 200 HR yoga certificate in 2012, and began deepening her practice in 2013 with Yoga Nidra and other healing modalities while receiving her 500 hr yoga certificate. Later that year, she left to travel with Royal Caribbean as a dancer and aerialist. She performed in major production shows, as well as aerial production shows with hoop, and halo harness at 65 feet in the air. She began working with an aerial arts studio in Phoenix in 2014, after returning from her contract, and was then introduced to aerial yoga and has been teaching aerial arts and aerial yoga ever since! She was able to create her own teaching style, method and sequences, by drawing from her experience as an aerialist and performer, while staying true to the mind and body connection of yoga. She found that by incorporating the hammock in a way that supported her during training, she was able to restore, condition, and strengthen in ways she couldn’t before.

Taylor is passionate about her health and wellness and enjoys spending time on the water, or at home with her husband, her animals, friends and family while pursuing her passions! She’s excited to share her passions with her students and clients.

Chelsea Brooks

Chelsea Brooks has been practicing yoga for 20 years. With the desire to deeper her practice and share this gift with others she competed her 200 HR Yoga Teacher Training in Amorgos Greece with the Awakened Life School of Yoga in 2017. She discovered how much of a positive impact her practice had on life, both mentally and physically, as it helped her get through many difficult times. Although she loves both a strenuous physical practice and time to sit and “be”, most importantly her classes are accessible to yogis of all potential shapes, ages, and interests. Whether teaching a beginner or vinyasa class, students can expect to explore their strengthens, work on focus, and learn to find balance on and off the mat.
